Yotta’s Alloy has won a significant multi-year contract with South Gloucestershire Council
14th January 2020 - Oxford Metrics plc (AIM: OMG), the international software company servicing government, life sciences, entertainment and engineering markets, is pleased to announce that Yotta, a provider of cloud-based infrastructure asset management software and services, has won a significant multi-year contract with South Gloucestershire Council for its connected asset management solution, Alloy.
South Gloucestershire Council plans to deliver a wide range of infrastructure management and environmental services, including managing highways, street lighting, open spaces, street cleansing, drainage and waste collection. The decision to opt for Alloy, via a competitive tender process, is in line with the Council’s current focus on digital transformation and digitising services in order to be more citizen and customer-centric, bringing benefits to residents, staff and the Council itself. Alloy will also enable the Council to more efficiently collate and share data across the organisation and better understand its residents and their needs.
Jonathan Munslow, Asset and Infrastructure Group Manager at South Gloucestershire Council said:
“We look forward to working with Yotta on implementing a system that will make it easier for us to keep track of and schedule the work we do to maintain and improve roads, street lights, parks, streets, drainage and waste collection, improving the services we provide to local residents.”
Nick Bolton, CEO of Oxford Metrics, said:
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with South Gloucestershire Council on this key strategic project. It is crucial for them to be able to deliver a single view of assets and services in order to achieve operational efficiencies across its activities. It is also key that the Council deliver digital transformation to obtain that single view of the customer to better understand them and ensure they are kept fully updated and informed. Alloy is in a unique position to help it meet both of these core objectives.”
