OMG plc, (AIM: OMG), the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, announces that its T-Series motion capture system was used on, Beyond: Two Souls, the latest game from acclaimed French video game studio Quantic Dream.

Written and directed by David Cage, Beyond: Two Souls is a psychological action thriller starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. Launched on October 8 2013, this is the latest game from acclaimed French video game studio Quantic Dream since its smash hit, Heavy Rain.

A long standing customer of Vicon motion capture technology, Quantic Dream added 28 Vicon T-series cameras to the studio’s existing 30 MX 40 cameras and integrated them with Blade – Vicon’s innovative data capture and industry leading data processing tool – for the start of the Beyond project.

Guillaume de Fondaumière, CEO of Quantic Dream, commented:

“For this project we cast world class actors who are very familiar to our audience. We needed to be sure we captured all the subtle nuances of their performances, so it was extremely important that the data have the highest possible fidelity. Because of this, we chose Vicon technology as it consistently delivers first rate results with outstanding levels of support”.
