World-class performance capture studio Beyond Capture selects Vicon’s Vantage solution
Beyond Capture to deploy Vicon’s Vantage solution in its new state-of-the-art performance capture studio in Montreal
OXFORD, UK – 24 August 2021 —Vicon, a world leader in motion capture, is pleased to announce that it has won a new contract with Beyond Capture, a provider of world-class motion capture and performance capture services for VFX, video games and animation.
Beyond Capture, which currently owns a state-of-the-art performance capture studio in Vancouver, is now expanding its presence following a recent partnership with Reservoir Creative and will be opening a brand new 15,000 square foot performance capture facility, Beyond Montreal, located in the heart of downtown Montreal in November.
Beyond Capture, which is currently utilising Vantage, Vicon’s cutting edge flagship cameras in its Vancouver-based studio, will be using 60 Vicon Vantage 16 cameras in its new Montreal facility, enabling them to capture at remarkable speeds across a larger volume. By selecting Vicon’s technology, Beyond Montreal will be able to offer cutting-edge services including motion capture, performance capture, virtual production and full-body animation.
