Annual General Meeting Statement

Feb 22, 2018

22 February 2018 - Oxford Metrics plc (LSE: OMG), the international software company servicing government, life sciences, entertainment and engineering markets, will hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 2.30pm today.

At the AGM, Roger Parry, Chairman of Oxford Metrics, will make the following statement:

"The Board is pleased to announce that Oxford Metrics has made a positive start to the new financial year and, based on current trading performance, the Group is trading slightly ahead of market expectations at this stage for the full year ending September 2018. The Group continues to make progress against its stated five-year strategic plan announced in December 2016, to double profits and triple recurring revenue over that five-year timeframe.

In line with previous years, the Group continues to be second half weighted in terms of revenue and remains encouraged by the strong pipelines building across the business. Consequently, the Board remains confident of the Group's prospects for the year.

The Group also announces today the retirement from the Board of Group founder and Non-executive Director, Dr Julian Morris. Julian has grown the business from budding start-up to world-class software company serving thousands of customers in 70 countries. His insight and leadership over that time have been invaluable. We thank him for his deep contribution to the business and wish him well in his retirement."

The Company will provide further information on trading at the time of its interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2018.
